How tracking updates work

Tracking information is provided after an order is processed and the carrier receives the package. The tracking number may be created before the first movement scan appears. This is normal and does not always mean the package is delayed.

Once a parcel is in transit, tracking updates are controlled by the shipping carrier. Scans may appear at origin facilities, transfer hubs, destination facilities, local delivery offices, and final delivery routes. Some routes may show fewer scans than others.
